Official: Flames Leaving Glens Falls

As was anticipated, the AHL announced that it will create a Western Division on Thursday.

As a result of that, five affiliates are heading West, including the Adirondack Flames. The Flames, a Calgary Flames affiliate, will move to Stockton, Calif.

However, Flames fans need to be too upset. The Calgary Flames will most likely be sending the ECHL team they own in Stockton back to Glens Falls to remain as the Flames. That comes from this Times Union article.
