There's something about Syracuse. At least when it comes to a highly-ranked Clemson team. For a third straight season, the 'Cuse, at the very least, put a scare in the Tigers.

With the Carrier Dome sold out for a football game for the first time since the 1998 season opener, the Orange fell behind quickly but showed their resilience trailing by only eleven points at halftime.

The offense has started slowly this season under quarterback Tommy DeVito who has taken over full-time following Eric Dungey's graduation. DeVito struggled for a third straight game Saturday night against Clemson and although the Orange defense hung in there, Syracuse fell 41-6.
