Patriot’s Receiver Antonio Brown Accused Of Sexual Assualt

New England Patriot's Wide Receiver Antonio Brown has been the focus of many news stories lately. His discontent with his contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers led to his trade to the Oakland Raiders and his discontent with the Raiders as a whole led to his release in Oakland. Just hours after being cut loose in Oakland Brown was signed by the defending Super Bowl Champion Patriots. Now the most concerning story has surfaced. Antonio Brown has been accused of sexual assault by his former trainer.

It is still far too early to pass judgement in this case but to call the accusations concerning might be an understatement. Reports are that the Patriots were blindsided by the news and the NFL is conducting an investigation. The obvious questions for Brown's accuser are why did she continue to return for more abuse and why file a civil suit when it's unclear if she filed a criminal suit? With any luck we will be provided answers to all these questions in the near future. It is still unclear if Antonio Brown will see the field this week or ever for the Patriots.
