There is never any shortage of stories out of Albany Empire camp.  They have their new head coach in Maurice Leggett.  I think it is a great move.  He brings a ton of experience and will demand and have the respect of the players.  The Empire need some stability in the head coaching role and they might finally have it now.  The hype is still surrounding June 17th when Antonio Browns says he will play for the Empire at home at the MVP Arena.  Who knows if Cam Newton will be there too.  Below is my quick take on this form the Times Union:
Maurice Leggett is the right man for the job. Fresh off the playing field, Leggett brings instant credibility to the players because he just retired as a player for the Albany Empire. Leggett has command of the practices and even though he’s never been a head coach, you get the feeling the players who know call him coach will play hard for Moe. The Empire has been through one head coach after another this season, but they need stability and Leggett should be the coach to give them that for at least the rest of the season.

The hype is starting to build up for the Albany Empire and the countdown begins for the June 17th game.  Antonio Brown told me in our interview he is going to play and I believe him.
