Brooklyn Nets power forward Kris Humphries isn’t the NBA’s most popular player.  Now, he’s getting rejected by referees?  This is getting out of hand.

The Brooklyn Nets ended a five-game losing streak by beating the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night 94-88.  Brooklyn improves to (12-9) on the season.  Joe Johnson led the way for the Nets by scoring 23 points.  Kris Humphries scored 11 points in 18 minutes, but he will most be remembered for getting rejected by a referee.

Referee Courtney Kirkland did his best Dikembe Mutombo impression by swooping in and preventing Kris Humphries from taking a shot.  The only thing that was missing was Courtney Kirkland turning to the crowd and busting out a finger wag.  Apparently, Kirkland wanted substitute players to enter the game before Humphries attempted his free throw.  This would have to happen to Kris Humphries of all players, right?  It figures.
