Remembering Ron Jones with James Allen

Tragedy struck with the passing of Ron Jones, the Hoosick Falls Football coach and the Capital Region is reeling. James Allen from the Times Union has plenty memories of Jones and joined us to remember them and reflect on the impact that he left with his teams and in Capital Region. Listen above.

RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: Section II Basketball players have choices, but it’s always nice when they choose to say home. Saint Rose landed two good one’s in Shane Odell from Schalmont and Keegan Zoller from Ballston Spa, both made verbal commitments to Saint Rose. Head Coach Mike Perno  had a young team last season, that will be a lot better next season. Adding Odell who is a monster on the boards, and Zoller who is a tremendous outside shooter, will only help the Golden Knights. Both players had other choices, but playing in their backyard for a program where they can have an immediate impact, made all the difference in the world.
