Road to a Buffalo Bills’ Super Bowl Won’t Be Easy with 2023 Schedule [LIST]
A popular professional sports metaphor is a team's window to win a championship. Is it open, is it beginning to close, or was it slammed shut? It's a unique way to gauge a fanbase's expectations for their team, and if you ask Bills Mafia, Buffalo's championship window is still wide open.
No one should blame them for thinking in this way, either. Star QB Josh Allen is at the peak of his career, and he's got plenty of help around him this season. A two-headed monster at the wide receiver position is complemented by a two-headed monster at the tight end position, all four of whom can be prime targets for QB1 in 2023.
It won't be an easy path to a Super Bowl title, however, as based on the team's recently-released schedule, there will be more than a few tough games this team will have to face.
Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen Continue Championship Pursuit Through '23 Schedule
The NFL has officially released the schedules for all 32 of its teams ahead of kick-off for the 2023 season, and the Buffalo Bills will not have an easy road back to the playoffs this year.
As is the case with the New York Jets, the Bills will face four games against the gauntlet known as the NFC East. They'll battle the Giants, Cowboys, Eagles and Commanders, in addition to the eight games they'll play against their own division.
Excitement is at an all-time high in Buffalo right now, with the team having recently broken ground on a new stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The franchise is here to stay in Buffalo for a long time, but the same can't necessarily be said for this current group of players.
How many more seasons will Allen, Diggs and Miller play together? That question remains unanswered.
They'll have at least one more go-around in 2023, and these are the teams they'll be facing when the NFL kicks-off in the fall.
