Robinson Cano Hit On Hand, X-Rays Negative
On Sunday night, Yankee second baseman Robinson Cano was hit by a pitch on the hand and left the game. He had X-Rays, and manger Joe Girardi reports that they were negative.
The Yankees lost to the Orioles 6-3 on Sunday night, but considering it's just Spring training it could have been much worse. Robinson Cano was hit on the hand in the hand in the sixth inning by a fast ball from Baltimore pitcher Troy Patton.
Cano would exit the game after the hit, but Joe Girardi reported that the x-rays came back negative. Can will be looked at again on Monday to see how the wrist is, and if he can play Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
