Royals to Double-Down on Mets Insults (AUDIO)

After the Kansas Jayhawks' convincing win over Maryland in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, they certainly appear to be a worthy championship contender.

Before that game, we brought in radio host Danny Parkins in Kansas City to ask him how good he thinks KU is and if he trusts head coach Bill Self in big moments.

Furthermore, we asked him about the Kansas City Royals. What's it like having expectations this season coming off a World Series title? Also, what does he think of what the Royals are going to do to the Mets on opening week?

The two teams open up against each other and the Royals are going to do the banner ceremony on one night and then do the ring ceremony on the other. They are doubling down on the insults of New York and I am not OK with it.
