Man, Jim Harbaugh is an uptight guy. You would think his 49ers were winless and his job was on the line. Harbaugh lost his cool reacting to a simple throw away comment by New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride.

In speaking about the 49ers defense two days ago, Gilbride said defensive tackle Justin Smith "gets away with murder." You would think Gilbride said Smith was a murderer.

With that innocent, throw away cliche from Gilbride in hand, Harbaugh went nuts, setting up yet another story line for today's rematch from the NFC title game from last season.

First the uptight Harbaugh was "offended' by the term murdered saying "Kevin Gilbride's outrageous, irrational statement, regarding Justin Smith's play is, first an absurd analogy in regards to using the term murderer."

Harbaugh wasn't finished adding "second it is an incendiary comment targeting one of the truly exemplary players in the league."

Finishing up his crazy reaction Harbaugh finished with this "it's obvious the Giants coaching staff's sole purpose is using it's high visibility to both criticize and influence officiating."

Wow imagine if Gilbride or another Giant coach were to say something really derogatory.

The rematch is back in San Francisco today at 4:25 p.m. Here is hoping Harbaugh is wound real tight and lets his emotions get the best of him again in this big NFC matchup.
