The New York Giants have the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.  What they will do with that pick will remain a mystery for the next two weeks.  They could go quarterback, they could go wide receiver, or they could go a different position.  They need to play the board and see what the best available option will be there.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:

The Giants need to draft LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers with the sixth pick in the first round of the NFL draft and not a quarterback. The Giants lost their best offensive player running back Saquon Barkley to Philadelphia and now they need to add a playmaker for quarterback Daniel Jones. If the Giants want a quarterback, they should wait until the second-round because this is a draft loaded with quality quarterbacks. Nabers solves a lot of problems and gives Jones the big-time receiver he desperately needs to have a successful season.

I'm still not giving up on Daniel Jones as he has had so much bad luck and had a really raw deal so far with the Gmen.  They need to do a better job getting him more weapons on offense.  A wide receiver one would be huge.  Joe Schoen is a smart GM and Brian Daboll is a good head coach so they will figure it out no matter what.  The Giants will have a good draft and the expectations will be high right around training camp.
