The MLB All Star Game is Tuesday, July 9th and at least two New York Yankees will be there. The All Star starting lineups are out and Catcher Gary Sanchez and second baseman DJ LeMahieu have been named starters. Considering the number of injuries and list of previously little known players that have kept the Yankees winning this is great news.

Both Sanchez and LeMahieu will surely factor into the MVP conversation if they continue their lights out play. Even though many have Mike Trout as the clear cut favorite ate this time. Trout is also an ASG starter. The Astros lead all teams with three starters and it's interesting that not ONE single Red Sox player made the starting rosters. Sadly no Mets were named to the NL starting lineups even though a strong case could be made for rookie Pete Alonso and second year player Jeff McNiel.
