The Basketball Hall of Fame has announced its 2016 induction class. The class includes Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson, Yao Ming, Tom Izzo, Sheryl Swoopes and Jerry Reinsdorf.

Shaq is the big draw in this class, literally. "Diesel" has quite the resume...  He won four NBA titles and was a three-time NBA Finals MVP. He was also a 14-time All-NBA selection and was a 15-time all-star.

Iverson is my favorite player of the bunch. Despite having character concerns and a negative public perception throughout his career, he was one of the best players of his era. Iverson won four scoring titles and was the 2001 League MVP.

Izzo is certainly Hall of Fame worthy, despite Michigan State's early exit from the NCAA Tournament this season. He has 524 wins in East Lansing and has reached seven Final Fours. He also won the 2000 championship.

Ming was the No. 1 pick of the Rockets in 2002 and was an eight-time all-star. His presence in the league also helped the sport grow internationally.
