Should The NFL Allow Marijuana Usage? [NoeBrainer]

Possession of marijuana is legal in Colorado and Washington.  The NFL still says that marijuana usage is not permitted.  Should the league reconsider?

Look out; seemingly every pot smoker and weed toker is in favor of the NFL and NBA reversing their stance and allowing marijuana usage.  Why?  What would be the benefit?  Both leagues would take significant PR hits by allowing a largely-illegal drug (aside from Colorado and Washington) to be permissible.

You would hear so many jokes about both leagues it wouldn’t even be funny.  There already is a joke about Peyton Manning buying several Papa John’s pizza stores in Colorado now that possession of marijuana is legal in the state.  Munches, anyone?  Would the NFL and NBA benefit from the masses cracking jokes about them?  No, it’s a stupid idea.

Sorry, potheads, you’ll have to come up with a better stance other than professional sports leagues permitting marijuana usage while only two states have legalized it.
