Steelers James Harrison Voted ‘Meanest Guy’ In The NFL

In a new player poll they voted on who they thought was the meanest player in the league.  Four players got the majority of the votes but James Harrison was ultimately decided on as the meanest guy in the NFL.

Sports Illustrated asked players around the NFL who they thought the meanest player around was and four names came up primarily.  You heard Richard Seymour tossed around, as well as Detroit's Ndamukong Suh and Ray Lewis.  35% of the time however, players said James Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

According to Yahoo they aren't sure of exactly how Sports Illustrated asked the players the question, but it's pretty impressive that Harrison's name came up so often.  They said that at least 68 players were named with at least one vote including Harrison's Steeler teammate Hines Ward.  Maybe his dancing is what did it.
