Syracuse had an NCAA tournament run that nobody saw coming this season, but it ended for the same reasons the Orange struggled with all season. Syracuse lacks offensive productivity and they have absolutely no inside game and no depth on their roster. And yet they still made it all the way to the Sweet 16, which is a credit to head coach Jim Boeheim’s patent 2-3 zone defense that most teams struggle against. All things considered, Syracuse had a better season than anyone anticipated.
