Elijah Burns

The Siena Saints first season under Coach Carmen Maciariello has been better than any of us could of hoped so far. The Saints have won the MAAC regular season title and will enter the MAAC tournament as the top seed. Now three Saints have been named All MAAC selections. Manny Camper and Jalen Pickett have both been named First Team All-MAAC selections, while Elijah Burns was selected to the Second Team.

It's been a pretty eventful first season for Jamion Christian and the Siena Saints Men's Basketball program so far. Not only has Christian himself made his debut in Loudenville but Troy's own Elijah Burns has come home. After completing his degree at Notre Dame Burns decided to transfer to Siena finish his college basketball career back home in the Capital Region.

With the non conference part of Siena Men's Basketball schedule behind head coach Jamion Christian and the rest of the Saints it's time to dig in and take on the MAAC. The Saints are off to an 0 - 2 start to conference play but there's no way that will slow down coach Christian are allow doubt of this team's true potential to creep in.

The Siena Men's Basketball team host the College of Charleston tonight at the Times Union Center and coach Jamion Christian joins us to prepare for the game. Coach also sheds some light on what Troy native and Notre Dame graduate Transfer Elijah Burns adds to the Saints.
