Jamion Christian On Elijah Burns And The MAAC Schedule [AUDIO]

With the non conference part of Siena Men's Basketball schedule behind head coach Jamion Christian and the rest of the Saints it's time to dig in and take on the MAAC. The Saints are off to an 0 - 2 start to conference play but there's no way that will slow down coach Christian are allow doubt of this team's true potential to creep in.

Whenever you speak to coach Christian you are overcome with a sense of positivity and can see why this young team has been in almost every game they've played so far this season. One thing is for sure the "Mayhem" style of play is entertaining and has Saints' fans excited for what the future will bring. Possibly the biggest loss for Christian and Siena this season may have been in the board room and not on the court. The NCAA decided to not grant Troy native and former Notre Dame player Elijah Burns a waiver to join the Saints this season. This shouldn't shock any of us by now, but coach Christian isn't giving up that easy. Siena has an appeal already in place and will keep fighting for Burns.
