Before we go over the biggest Free Agent names and what the odds are the New York Yankees will land them let's talk about Didi Gregorius. The Yankees decide to not make the $17.8 million qualifying offer. Meaning Sir Didi has most likely played his last game in Pinstripes. This stings a lot. Ok now back to who the Yankees might add in his place.

With the Yankees season officially done after being overpowered by Dallas Keuchel and the Houston Astros in the American League wildcard game, their offseason starts a bit sooner than they had hoped. The Yankees surprising playoff birth in a tough American League East this past season puts them in a very interesting position entering the offseason...

The reputable baseball rumor site, MLBtraderumors, has listed its Top 50 MLB free agents for this offseason -- as well as predictions of where each will end up. Interestingly enough, the site predicts three of the top 50 to be in Pinstripes next season, including #1 (Max Scherzer), #4 (Hanley Ramirez) and #47 (Jason Grilli)...

The New York Giants on Sunday are expected to have visits from free agent defensive end Anthony Spencer and cornerback Dominiqe Rodgers-Cromartie.

With one year left in his deal, it's very likely that the Jets will release quarterback Mark Sanchez, if anything, because they'll save $8.3 million against the cap. Heading into his second NFL season, current starter Geno Smith is still being evaluated by the Jets staff...

Multiple reports indicate that the New York Jets are already counting on the $8.25 million that they will save whenever they cut Santonio Holmes, which appears to be a foregone conclusion at this point. We all knew that many heads would roll this off-season and Holmes being one of them is not a surprise...

The NFL Free Agent period is fast and furious and many more players have found new new homes and others have signed big deals to stay put.

One of the biggest free agents this MLB offseason is current St. Louis Cardinal, Albert Pujols.  The Marlins have officially moved to a new stadium, have new uniforms and have one big free agent signing in Jose Reyes.  They are aiming for Pujols now, but the Cards aren't giving him without a fight.

The Giants took a hit yesterday when they lost free agent defensive tackle Barry Cofield to the Washington Redskins. Now the pressure is on to hold on to their other big name free agents.

After all of the free agent signings and trades, many people out there now think the NBA will soon be made up of a few "super" teams and then everyone else.
