Losing is 1 thing. Not being competitive is totally another. Too many times this season the Saints have lost by at least 10 points. It happened again Saturday at the Times Union Center as the Saints were flogged by Loyola of Maryland 80-57...

Fairfield University is  known as the Stags. After last night that only one's "Stag-gering" are the Saints of Siena. Final score from Bridgeport: Fairfield 74  Siena 52. Another debacle in a season of debacles. Siena was never in the game...

Led by a career high tying 30 points by Evan Hymes the Siena Saints almost pulled off a big upset Friday night at the Times Union Center but in the end too much Juan'ya Green helped Niagara escape with a 78-69 win. Green just missed a triple double finishing with 10 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds...

Perhaps a parade down Washington Avenue is in order? Maybe a shout out from Governor Cuomo might be in order? Dare we say can you make it two straight? Regardless of any jokes or snide comments, this much is true: the Siena Saints won a ballgame at the Times Union Center Friday night and snapped their 11 game losing streak...

Things have gone from very bad to extremely ugly and quickly for the Siena Saints. Sunday they were no match for a team that itself had lost five straight. The Rider Broncs welcomed the Saints with open arms and then quickly closed them in a bear hug in a 72-53 beat down on home court...

Despite being down in bodies and, if their record is any indication, spirit, the Siena Saints put up a big effort Friday at home against Iona, but lost again nonetheless 66-62. The high flying Gaels were kept under their usual output on the scoreboard but when you have lost 10 straight as Siena has lost, close or competitive is no good...

You have to wonder if the ax is starting to swing a bit on Siena head coach Mitch Buonaguro. The Siena coach must be feeling the heat after his Saints got clobbered at home Saturday night by the La Salle Explorers  80-52. For the first time in school history the Saints start 0-5 at home...

Two days ago the Fordham Rams trailed 57-28 at the half against Big East beast Connecticut. Since then the Rams have gotten hot losing only by 15 against UConn and then defeating Siena on Sunday 81-75. A season of hope is quickly falling apart for Siena, now having lost eight in a row and sitting with an ugly 2-10 record...

It's not very pleasant around the New York Knicks right now.  The Phoenix Suns beat them last night 91-88 pushing their skid to four straight.

It's finally over!  The Mariners actually won a game! Seattle ended a franchise-record 17-game losing streak on Wednesday as they cruised to a 9-2 win over the Yankees at The Stadium.

The New York Yankees extended the Seattle Mariners losing streak to 17 straight on Tuesday night.  CC Sabathia cruised to his 15th win of the season and had a perfect game heading into the seventh inning.

We're 3 games into the 2011 baseball season and the Red Sox are 0-3.  Yankee fans are loving this while Red Sox fans are ready to write off the season. Calm down people!!
