The season of second guessing the Yankees and Masihiro Tanaka's decision to not have Tommy John surgery starts a new chapter as it appears Tanaka could make his big league return within two weeks.

Joe Girardi said Tanaka will throw a bullpen session Monday and then a minor league start as early as Thursday. If all goes as planned we could see Masahiro Tanaka back on the mound for the Yankees in two weeks. With the return of Chris Capuano and Ivan Nova's return on the horizon, The Yankees could find themselves in a position of needing to decide not only who stays in the starting rotation but also who stays in the majors.

In a perfect world the Starting five would be Michael Pineda, Masahiro Tanaka, Ivan Nova, CC Sabathia and Nathan Eovaldi. With Chris Capuano and Adam Warren fortifying an already strong bullpen.
