The Albany Empire have hit the ground running. In their inaugural season they are arguably the best team in the AFL and this weekend they get the perfect chance to prove that to the Baltimore Brigade. The Brigade at 5 - 1 have the best record and have beat the Empire head to head 52 - 49 earlier this season in Baltimore. The Empire are 4 - 0 since their last meeting and are looking to go 5 - 0 this Saturday. The Empire's "Jack" Linebacker Terence Moore could be a big reason they extend their win streak.

Moore was named the AFL Week 7 Defensive player of the Week:

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Moore (6’2, 225, Troy) tallied 10 total tackles, one tackle for-a-loss, two pass break ups, and a 37 yard interception return for a touchdown in the Empire’s 48-21 win over the Washington Valor. The seven-year veteran currently ranks second in tackles on the season with 38 total tackles. Moore is leads the League in interception return yards with 40.
