49ers Suspend Brandon Jacobs for the Season

Over the weekend, former New York Giant Brandon Jacobs sounded off on Instagram about his current role with the 49ers. Today, he is paying the price for questionable decision.

The 49ers have announced that they've suspended the often disgruntled running back for the remaining 3 games of the season, presumably for his Saturday spout. Among other things, Jacobs posted the following on his account: "I am on this team rotting away so why would I wanna put any pics up of anything that say niners." Jacobs has been battling injuries throughout this season, and has only gotten 5 carries for 7 years on the year.
