The Giants took a hit yesterday when they lost free agent defensive tackle Barry Cofield to the Washington Redskins. Now the pressure is on to hold on to their other big name free agents.

The Team is working on deals with a lot of their big free agents defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka, tight end Kevin Boss and wide receiver Steve Smith, but the one that they are set above all else is Bradshaw. The problem that the Giants are hitting is cap space. So the Giants are trying to restructure deals of guys Like Brandon Jacobs to make room for these other big peaces of the puzzle. Jacobs has stated he would be open to the notion of restructuring his contract to get more talent in the building.

The team needs a lot of help to win in a very competitive NFC East. With the Redskins and Cowboys improving along with the Eagles still being the force they were last season, the giants need to keep what good players they have and add a couple more big name guys to have a chance to win the Division in 2011.
