The list is growing by the day. What looked like a mundane NBA draft will now be much more then that, for better or worse.

Tim Hardaway Jr adds his name to the growing list. he is the 2nd Michigan underclassmen to declare for the draft, joining teammate Trey Burke.

Players can declare for the draft, assess their draft position, and if they don't like what they hear or see pull back on that by a certain date. This year that date is June 17th. The draft will take place on June 27th.

Some of the other big names to declare early are Michael Carter-Williams of Syracuse, Ben McLemore of Kansas,Gorgui Dieng of Louisville, Otto Porter of Georgetown, Indiana teammates Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller, Alex Len of Maryland, Shabazz Muhammed of UCLA, Nerlens Noel of Kentucky ( recovering from knee injury), Kentucky teammate Archie Goodwin,  Reggie Bullock of North Carolina, and others.

The total so far with Hardaway Jr in stands at 33 and growing.

The NBA draft combine is held in Chicago from May 15th through may 19th. The NBA draft lottery is May 21st. That's when GM's of the worst teams in the league, or those that made astute trades with bad teams who find themselves in the lottery despite having good seasons.

The NBA allows players to enter if they are of certain age or have at least completed 1 season of college.

The list doesn't include those who might want to enter in from Europe.
