The third time was not the charm for Niskayuna graduate and Syracuse lacrosse standout Kayla Treanor as the senior did not win the Tewaaraton Award for the nation's top lacrosse player on Thursday night.

Instead, Treanor lost out to Taylor Cummings of Maryland, who became the first ever three-time award winner and beat Treanor again.

Treanor scored 90 points this season, including a whopping 50 goals and 40 assists. Her career ends with her being one of the top women's lacrosse players in history.
