Providence College added two outstanding student-athletes to their women’s basketball program. Meghan Huerter from Shenendehowa and Olivia Olsen from Niskayuna both chose Providence when their high school careers are over. Both Huerter and Olsen are junior’s, who made early commits. Olsen is a dominate center, while Huerter is a consistent outside shooting with a very high basketball IQ. Both players had plenty of good choices, but playing in the Big East and close to home were selling points. Providence plays fast, a style at suits both Huerter and Olsen.
