If you're still upset over the loss of the UAlbany men's basketball team last night at SEFCU Arena, you can now have reason to get excited about the UAlbany football team in 2016.

The Great Danes have released their schedule for next season already:

The Danes have an 11-game schedule that opens up for the second consecutive season at FBS Buffalo. The Danes have a six-game home schedule that includes opponents such as Holy Cross, St. Francis (PA), Richmond, Elon, Delaware and Stony Brook.

The Danes are coming of a 3-8 season and 2-6 record in Colonial Athletic Association play. This will be the third year for head coach Greg Gattuso and his squad figures to be better in most ways.

The Danes will have an experienced signal caller in DJ Crook and have some playmakers at wide receiver in the defensive secondary.

If Josh Gontarek is welcomed back into the program following his indefinite suspension this season, then the Danes are even more dangerous.
