UFC Fighter Dominick Cruz Likes Idea Of MMA “Super-Fights” [AUDIO]
For almost a year, Renan Barao has been "the talk" of the UFC Bantamweight division, becoming the interim champion while the real champion has been recovering from ACL surgery. And now, Dominick Cruz is looking to reclaim his throne completely, as he continues his recovery from the December surgery.
Cruz joined me on "Cady's Corner," which airs every Saturday morning from 10-11 on 104.5 "The Team." He discussed several topics in the world of MMA, including:
- His level of interest in a "rubber match" with Urijah Faber
- His thoughts on drug testing in MMA and how he feels about potential "super-fights" in the UFC
- How soon we can expect him back in the Octagon
Cruz also discussed the main event for tonight's UFC on Fox event, as Lightweight champion Benson Henderson defends his crown against the last 155-pound champion in Strikeforce, Gilbert Melendez. Check out the audio below!
