On the opening weekend of college hockey season, Union College upset No. 3 Boston University in Schenectady.

The big win was the first of the year for the Dutchmen, who tied with Sacred Heart in Friday's opener.

The win was also the 100th at Union for head coach Rick Bennett, who led the Dutchmen to the national championship in the 2014-15 season.

Bennett joined us this morning and we asked him if he's happy to achieve the milestone - or if he's just happy that the anticipation is over.

Furthermore, we asked him how his team was able to upset Boston.

Interestingly enough, RPI beat Boston College this weekend as well. Boston is known as one of the best, if not the best areas for college hockey. It's great for the Capital Region to have beaten Boston twice this weekend.

We then asked Bennett about this upcoming weekend against Maine, as well as the success of Union players in the NHL.
