In the midst of a historic NBA season, the Golden State Warriors are on another planet when it comes to some of the greatest teams in NBA history. On Thursday night in their 121-106 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Warriors overcame another late game deficit to emerge victorious; and that win is monumental.

With that win against the Thunder, Golden State now improves to 55-5 this season, which eclipses the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls 54-6 mark for the best 60-game start to a season. This also means that they would have to go 18-4 to break the 72-game win season the Bulls had that year. The Warriors also also tied the 1994-95 Bulls record for consecutive home wins with 44.

This team is absolutely unreal. As they inch closer to the Bulls record, it's time to consider them as one of the best teams in the history of team sports. Where do you think the Warriors rank?
