The UFC will officially return to the Empire State for the first time in nearly two decades when Madison Square Garden hosts UFC 205 this Saturday night. The main event features Eddie Alvarez versus Conor McGregor in a bout for the UFC lightweight championship. Before McGregor was announced as the main event participant in late September, some media members and fans had speculated that former bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey would be the main event participant for the card at Madison Square Garden. Instead McGregor is now headlining what is projected to be the most watched pay per view event in UFC History. Does McGregor fighting in this weekend's main event now make him a more popular fighter than Ronda Rousey?

McGregor's last bout against Nate Diaz at UFC 202 was the most watched pay per view card in the UFC's history. In comparison, Rousey's last fight drew fifty six thousand to watch in attendance as she was knocked out by Holly Holm in  Melbourne, Australia. Dana White was recently asked who he believed was the biggest star in the company. White claimed it was Rousey saying "Not even close. By far the biggest star.” Who do you believe is the most popular and biggest draw to the UFC? Let us know below.
