The long-awaited debut of Sony's next-gen game console the PS5 is scheduled for tomorrow June 11th, 2020 at 4 pm EST. The original debut was postponed due to the ongoing protests revolving around the murder of George Floyd. Sony felt as though it wasn't the right time but tomorrow the wait is over.

Little is known for sure about exactly what the upgrades will be for the PS5 but we do have some info and clues that lead us to believe some really cool changes are on the way. First, the controllers are now "Dual Sense" described on BestBuy.com as:

DualSense brings new levels of immersion to gaming. Most significantly, it has haptic feedback, meaning you will feel tension in the controls as you play. Plus, with a new ergonomically comfortable design, built-in microphone, and two-tone color scheme, this new controller will be a fantastic enhancement to your gaming experience.

The next clue we have as to possibly new innovations for the PS5 was reported by VideoGamesChronicle.com. They believe a patent that Sony filed gives clues about the PS5's interactive menu:

The patent describes a system which may determine that the user has been repeatedly attempting to overcome a challenge within a particular portion of a game, and decide to provide hints for the current gameplay on the system menu.

The system menu described will also provide statistics and a video clip based on the user’s previous gameplay session.

I will be one of the first in line for the new PS5. I enjoy gaming normally but with the current lack of events both sporting and otherwise I'll really need the entertainment at home. I'm really looking forward to the next Madden, any college football we could get, and the next installment of the God of War series. What games are you most excited about?
