Why LSU Should Be The #1 Team In The Country

For the third consecutive season,I will be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college football season. My poll philosophy all season long will remain the same and that is by ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty-five best in the country following that given week’s games. LSU should be the #1 team in the country- The 2019 Tigers have earned the number one spot. This is not a tradition vote or a prestige vote. I am voting on the BEST teams in the 2019 season. I understand the Tigers have not beat Alabama since 2011. However right now LSU's wins over Texas and Florida are far more impressive than Alabama's wins over Texas A&M and.. .who? Who is the second best team Alabama beat? South Carolina? Duke? Same goes for Clemson. What is the best win for the Tigers this season? Texas A&M? Syracuse.  A win over Auburn on 10/26 would solidify their status. Don't forget the Tigers have a bye before they play Alabama. (However so do the Crimson Tide)
