The Syracuse Orange football is off to the program's best start in over five years but there is some controversy involving the quarterback position in Central New York. Senior standout Eric Dungey was benched in the fourth quarterback for redshirted freshman signal caller Tommy Devito. Devito led the Orange to a touchdown drive and the eventual 43-40 double overtime victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels. Coach Dino Babers has yet to name the team's starter for this weekend's upcoming matchup. If the Orange win on Saturday night, the Orange will become bowl eligible for the first time since 2013. That season, Syracuse defeated Minnesota in the Texas Bowl, 21-17.

Some sports books across the country opened with Syracuse as a 1 1/2 point favorite but now the Wolfpack are listed as a 2 point favorite. Kickoff against the NC State Wolfpack is set for 7pm inside the Carrier Dome.

Can Syracuse win this weekend against NC State? Will the Orange be heading to the program's first bowl game since 2013 in December? Let us know your thoughts below.
