J.A. Happ is having an impressive spring training for the Yankees, and that’s very good news for manager Aaron Boone. Happ, a veteran lefty, is coming off an awful 2019 season in which he gave up 34 home runs and really struggled. Happ has only given up 2 home runs in 11 innings this Spring with 16 strikeouts, and looks like he’s locked in a for a much better season. With Luis Severino out for the season after Tommy John surgery, they need pitchers like Happ to step up.
