As the NFL rumor mill continues to swirl, the name of prominent tight end is stealing headlines, and a New York team may be the perfect fit.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler tweeted the following this morning:

The trade rumors that have circled Ertz are still prevalent, and the Eagles would much rather recoup assets for the tight end, as opposed to cutting him from the roster. So, while that idea is already exciting, CBS Sports followed up with a VERY intriguing idea:

Per Field Yates and his sources, the Bills are making roster moves that would indicate a move may be coming. Opening up that much cap space for a player slated to make just over $12 million against the cap, makes it seem as though they're willing to acquire a bigger contract. This offense has no problem airing the ball out deep, but adding a target in short-field situations would take them to another level on offense.

Could that take them over the edge and help them beat the Chiefs? There's a chance.
