Looks like the Oakland Raiders let another one get away.  Tight End Zach Miller won't be suiting up in the silver in black this year.  He signs with the Seattle Seahawks for $34 million.

Right now ESPN is reporting that free agent TE Zack Miller has signed with the Seahawks for a reported $34 million over 5 years. This is unfortunate for Oakland since Miller was a superstar for them the last two seasons.

Last season Miller made the Pro Bowl, caught 60 passes and had 5 touchdowns. He is reunited with former Raiders coach Tom Cable, who is the new offensive line coach for Seattle. Miller looks to be replacing John Carlson, who is currently in the final year of his contract with Seattle.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll tried to defuse those rumors stating that they will work with two tight ends.

Anyone that thinks otherwise doesn't get it. We think those guys will play in tandem, on opposite sides, we'll be moving them around to matchups and stuff. I think it's a great asset for us now and we've always liked to play with two tight ends in a number of different packages and this just gives us tremendous flexibility at a really high level.

-Pete Carroll

Seattle seems to be building up an impressive team.  They also signed defensive end Jimmy Wilkerson who is expected to improve the Seahawks pass rush.  They also bring in Sidney Rice and Robert Gallery (another Raider).  The NFC West should be pretty interesting this season.
