The Chicago Bulls won Game one of their Playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers but lost their star player for the rest of the season.

Bulls Guard Derrick Rose suffered a knee injury with about 1:20 left in the game Saturday afternoon. After trying to leap off his left foot, Rose landed awkwardly and fell to the ground. Medical staff  tended to Rose for several minutes before taking him off the court. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital where he was given an MRI.  Tests showed  that Rose tore his ACL and will be out for the rest of the playoffs.

Rose was playing well before the injury occurred scoring 23 points with 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The Bulls did well without Rose during the season, but it hard to say how all this will pan out during the playoffs.
