Throw out the records when dorks face dorks.  All kidding aside, this is one great buzzer-beater in a game between Duke & North Carolina managers.

Student managers from Duke and North Carolina squared off in a traditional basketball game on Tuesday.  The score was tied 52-52 with 7.5 seconds left.  That’s when Duke manager Graham Vehovec stepped up and drained a clutch 3-pointer as the clock expired.  The Cameron Crazies stormed the court following the game-winning bucket.

Good for them.  It’s cool to see a student manager get his moment in the sun by hitting a buzzer-beater followed by a court storming.  Cool stuff.  Following the manager’s game on Tuesday night, Duke was able to complete the sweep against North Carolina by beating them 73-68 on Wednesday night.  Mason Plumlee and Quinn Cook led the way for the Blue Devils with 18 points apiece.
