Kevin Huerter had 20 points on Tuesday as he helped Shen win the Class AA title at the Times Union Center.

Huerter, who led the team in scoring at 16.3 ppg, is one of the area's most promising players. The lanky junior has several Division 1 offers in hand and Steve Dagostino of Dags Basketball, the area's top trainer, says he thinks Huerter could be a "high major" player, potentially even a Boston College or Notre Dame-type school.

While Huerter is generally renowned for his shooting and ability to hit from the outside, he has also worked hard to establish an inside game. He's shown the willingness and propensity to get inside the lane and get to the hoop. It's also helped him become one of the area's premiere passers.

It certainly helped him in the Class AA title game on this play. Watch as Huerter gets inside the lane and throws down an emphatic dunk. We often see area players dunk in transition, but rarely do we see it on a drive. Thanks to our friends at CBS 6 for the video.
