Talor Battle's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament didn't last long.

Juan Fernandez hit a game-winning shot with 0.4 seconds left giving Temple a 66-64 victory over Penn State in a West Region matchup in Tucson.

Battle, the Bishop Maginn graduate, hit the game-tying 3-pointer with 16 seconds left.  But the Owls held for one final shot and Fernandez ended Battle's NCAA Tourney career after just one game.

Battle led the Nitany Lions with 23 points on 9 of 21 shooting.  He was 5 of 11 from 3-point land.  He led Penn State to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 10 years.
