The Marlins are getting ready to start over again come the 2012 baseball season.  They have a new name, new stadium, ugly but new uniforms and are apparently willing to spend big money as they are showing interest in big free agents.

Albert Pujols recorded his 2,000th Major League hit in a 9-2 win on Friday night against the Chicago Cubs.  Pujols made some interesting comments regarding his possible future with the Cardinals after the game.

Three-time National League MVP Albert Pujols will be out for 4-6 weeks with a broken forearm.  One thing about this injury is amazing.

Certain sporting events are must see television.  They’re looked forward to, prognosticated about, ritualized and analyzed.  What are these events?  To some it may be opening day of the baseball season.  Not for me, I’m not that interested in Blue Jays-Indians in what basically represents watching the first 10 steps of a marathon.  Here’s my list of the top five sporting events.
