Former Siena Saint John Lannan Makes Triple-A Season Debut
Few former Siena Saint athletes have the professional resume that John Lannan has as a major league starting pitcher. Lannan, the Saints’ single season strikeout record holder and 2005 graduate has been a work horse for the Washington Nationals since making his debut in 2007. Unfrotunately for Lannan, after being named the Opening Day starter for the club the last two seasons, he was unable to secure a spot in the Nats rotation and was designated to triple-A Syracuse last week.
