Will this gimmick by EA Sports lead to bigger sales or moderate interest?

EA Sports has unveiled a new gimmick for its latest game; NCAA Football 13.  Gamers can put a Heisman legend on any college football team in the country.  From Tim Tebow to Desmond Howard or Tim Brown, you can feature a Heisman legend on any college football team you would like.  It's a great idea.

EA Sports has a strong gimmick that they can feature in commercials to promote the game.  They have an entry point, a reason, and an angle to promote NCAA Football 13.  It's better than just saying, "Hey, here is our new video game.  Buy it, please."

I have to mention that one of the actors in the commercial says, "I could care less," regarding Tim Tebow winning the Heisman for Georgia.  The Artist Formerly Known as Justin the Producer (may he rest in Townsquare Media peace) educated me that this is actually incorrect.  The correct way to say the phrase is like this; "I couldn't care less."  The thought is that you care so little that you literally could not care any less.  Since then, I've been adding to my "could care less" mix.  Some of the voices in the mix belong to Beyonce, "Game On" host Bruce Jacobs, Floyd Mayweather, and ESPN analyst Tim Legler.  Good stuff.
