Alex Rodriguez hit a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning and the Yankees went on to add a few more in the eighth in a 8-4 win over the Twins on Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium.

Trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Rodriguez's grand slam gave the Yanks a 5-4 lead.

It's the 25th home run of the year for Rodriguez, who is hitting .261 with 67 RBIs in this comeback season. It's also his 25th career grand slam.

C.C. Sabathia went 6.2 innings in a no-decision. He surrendered four earned runs on five hits and three walks. He struck out five. The former ace now has an ERA of 5.24.

Andrew Miller worked the ninth for his 27th save. He struck out three in 1.1 innings of work.

The Yankees got multi-hit games from Jacoby Ellsbury, Carlos Beltran, Greg Bird, and Chase Headley.

The Yankees send Nathan Eovaldi to the mound in tonight's contest.
