New York Yankees’ Fans Loved Seeing This Legend Emerge from Their Dugout

For the first 5.2 innings of the New York Yankees' game on Monday, the main story was the performance of Carlos Rodon.

Rodon, who signed with New York ahead of the 2023 season, was outstanding on Monday afternoon, striking out five batters while not allowing a single hit in his outing against Philadelphia.

Then, as the catch was made, time was called, and someone emerged from the Yankees' dugout. Fans probably expected to see Aaron Boone, New York's current-day manager, stroll out to the mound to remove Rodon from the game.
