A Thursday Night Of Mediocre Or Bad Football

This won't go down as "Must watch TV" for football fans this evening.

We have a pro game and 3 college games and in all that only 1 decent match up. 1st the NFL. The 3-4 San Diego Chargers, fresh off their 7-6 loss in Cleveland host the inept 1-6 Chiefs. I am thinking the NFL network would rather show reruns of Super Bowls past. The Chiefs have been down right dreadful. The Chargers after a strong start have lost 3 straight and coach Norvis is on his last legs. Funny we have thought that how many times before. How this guy keeps his job is beyond me. This is his 3rd  head job and at every stop teams have gotten worse with him as the head coach not better. Somehow his teams always go in the tank at some point in the season. the game also features OVER RATED Philip Rivers vs the guy who Chief fans cheered when he got hurt in their QB Matt Cassel. Cassel returned last week from a concussion after back up Brady Quinn went down hurt. Diehards will be tuned in to this and those with no life.

On the college side 3 games on the schedule. Lousy Eastern Michigan travels to Ohio. Ohio was flying high until they got knocked off by Miami Ohio 23-20. Ohio is 7-1 and E Mich is 1-7. We also have what looked  pretty good when the schedule came out an ACC match between Virginia Tech and Miami Florida. Neither team has distinguished itself as they both stand 4-4. However both are just half a game behind in the ACC's Coastal division in the chase for the ACC title game. Both trail Duke. yes Duke who leads the Coastal despite getting slammed by Florida State last week. Miami is tied in ACC play with Duke. Virginia Tech beat Duke. Miami plays Duke the final regular season game.

If all this doesn't get you excited we have 1 last college game and despite having 753ish TV channels not sure this game can be found on any. Middle Tennessee State takes on the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky. if you are waiting for a breakdown of this wait longer..None will be given.
