The Yankees just finished a West Coast trip they would just as soon forget. And it's because of the starting pitching. Masahiro Tanaka needs to regroup and Luis Severino needs to quit reading the press clippings because he's been good but lately, but not great. Aaron Judge can't hit home runs every game, but scoring runs won't be the problem. The starting pitching needs to show some consistency. If not, the Yankees will struggle to stay atop the AL East.
