The Giants have lost four safeties to season-ending injuries in the month of August. Suddenly, it’s easy to have regrets about those they let walk over the off-season.

“They let Antrel Rolle go and I think there were some people in that organization that wish they had kept him,” said ESPN’s Adam Schefter, to ‘Armen and Levack’ on 104.5 The Team.

“His leadership was invaluable and at times maybe he wasn’t the best player, but he was a solid safety, a presence in the locker room, and there are times, like now, that you miss a player like that.”

While safety is the thinnest position for the Giants, to say the least, they’ve also had multiple injuries at offensive line, defensive line and linebacker.

“Unfortunately they have to go other directions, every team in the league suffers injuries, the Giants have suffered more than their fair share. It just feels like when you’re watching them, man, the Giants get banged up. I don’t know why, but that’s what it seems like to me.”
